Maersk Container Industri AS (MCI), one of the world’s leading suppliers of reefer and dry containers, was established in early 1990 with the purpose of designing, producing and marketing ISO containers of a superior quality and competitive lifetime cost for the customers. MCI is a part of A.P. Moller - Maersk Group which is one of the World Top 500 Enterprises, and has more than 110,000 employees and offices in more than 125 countries around the world.

In 2005, MCI acquired a factory for the manufacture of dry cargo containers in Dongguan, China (MCID). The project of first phase has been successfully accomplished and put into production in Sep. 2006. Presently a number of positions are open as mentioned beneath:
