With a portfolio of leading brands, SigmaKalon is a worldwide player in decorative, marine, protective and industrial coatings back to 1722 in Holland. The company employs around 10,000 people in over 40 countries. Current turnover is approximately 1.9 billion euros.
SigmaKalon is the second largest supplier of coatings to the European market with a focus on decorative coatings. The Group is also developing its coatings activities in Africa and Asia.
SigmaKalon sells decorative coatings and sundry products directly to professional painters via a network of service centres. We have a unique network of around 500 fully owned decorating centres, and around 3,000 independent wholesalers that give us a direct relationship with our customers.
SigmaKalon invests in China in decorative coatings, marine and protective coatings. Currently it has currently three legal entities: SigmaKalon (Kunshan) Co., Ltd based in Kunshan of Jiangsu province for the marine and protective coatings and SigmaKalon (Shanghai) Co., Ltd based in Jiading of Shanghai for the decorative coatings and SigmaKalon Coatings (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. To be noted, SigmaKalon has set up its Asia R&D centre in Kunshan.
In the coming years, the SigmaKalon China is planning on recruiting more high-leveled professionals and will welcome new graduates from universities through Campus recruitment channel.
